House In Perspective by Ms. GeGe Morales
Medium: Acrylic
Dimensions: 9 x 12
Artist Statement: I wanted to practice my perspective drawing. Perspective is a technique where you use lines of measurement to show proper distance with regard to three-dimensional objects (i.e., a house, a tiled floor, etc.). I also wanted to perfect some of my illusional, textural paint techniques (i.e., the stucco walls of the house, the brick chimney, the doors, etc. The rest was easy for me. I love to paint trees and mountain scenes. I hope you like it. I made it just for you.
Image description: Grey one-story house with a red roof, chimney, and an abundance of windows. Off-white checkered driveway. Trees, grass, mountains, and blue sky with clouds in the background.
