Auction & Fundraiser for Abolition 2026
Welcome to Let’s Get Free’s 8th Art Show featuring 64 artists in prison and 40 artists in Solidarity with ending mass incarceration.
All proceeds of auction go to Let’s Get Free. The auction opens on Friday, September 25 at 5 PM and closes on Sunday, October 18 at 8 PM.
How The Auction Works:
- Find the piece you wish to bid on. You can either:
- Look for your item in the Gallery Guide below (search or scroll down on this page), or find it through the Online Gallery pages. Click the link to go to the page for your piece, then click the Auction button on that page. OR
- Go directly to the auction website and find the item that you would like to bid on. You can scroll by looking through numbers / titles, or use your browser’s search function (ctrl+F) to find the item (there is no search on the auction website).
- Before you bid, note whether the item can be shipped or if it must be picked up!
- The first time you bid you will have to set up an account which involves filling out your name, phone number or email address, and credit card information. This is the card that will be charged if you win the item you are bidding on. You will only be charged if you are the winning bidder when the auction ends on Sunday October 18 at 8pm.
- There will be a selection option for making a small donation to the platform, which would include an extra fee; you can uncheck the box if you like.
- Every time someone outbids you will receive a text or email. If you provided both contact methods, you will receive emails.
- Art Pick Up Sunday, October 25, 12– 5pm Please do everything in your power to stop by the Irma Freeman Center. Add this event to your calendar. We will remind you. If you can’t make that email: auctionlgf@gmail.com
- Your item can be shipped it will take 4 – 6 weeks. The auction buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping. The shipping cost is listed on the artwork’s auction page.

The price listed is the starting bid. Most of the art is framed.

Quilt
Behold our 3rd Community Abolition Quilt & subsequent Raffle! The Abolition Quilt was hand-sewn by a group of volunteers specifically for the Let’s Get Free 8th art show fundraiser. The quilt is 90” x 115” and is made to fit a full or queen sized bed. The pieced top of the quilt is a mix of cotton, polyester, rayon, and linen fabrics that were donated. The quilt is made with cotton batting in the middle and cotton fabric on the back.

Our quilt aspires to contribute spiritually and financially to the abolition work here in Pittsburgh.
