Fly Butter Fly by Jessica Strohl
Medium: Mixed media Poem with Braille Translation
Fly Butter-fly
To spread my wings and fly,
enjoy all the little things,
that are often passed aside.
More alive than ever,
Wings flash in the sunlight,
Hovering over flowers,
inhaling their glorious fragrance,
Harvesting the sweet nectar,
Free to be me.
Spreading my joy like pollen,
Bringing new buds to life.
Rising above gliding here and there,
With no set plan just being everywhere.
Taking it all in,
on this bright summer day.
There’s beauty all around me.
Such splendid freedom,
To be who I am
