Artist Statement: Please understand I’ve been in prison 40 years, the only freedom I’ve had in 40 years is a freedom to create. When I showed my thread recreation to several dozen people in prison, they told me they never seen art like this. They gave me a good, feeling, knowing that I am not dead, but alive, free to create 🙂
