Freedom by Sharrone Gray
Medium pencil and paints
Size: 14 x 12
Artist statement: I used a pencil and paints, and I titled it Freedom. It’s supposed to be the day I walk out of prison; it’s a sunny day, the sky is blue, the sun is up high, birds and trees and butterflies are in the air. It’s over 25 years, and now I get to start my life anew.
