Artist Statement: My objective was to take the information that was given and pose the question of Can We Picture A Free World? I gave a snapshot of how a free world would look from both an external and internal perspective, seen through my eyes as the process unfolds. I used certain objects to represent both a message, and a word in the message. The gold photo frame represents the word picture. The letter “A’ represents the word ‘A’. The eagle represents freedom. The small earth represents the world; the visual message is ‘Picture a Free World’.
