Artist statement: “This is a print inspired by Erik Ruin’s “Dark Times” print. For me, this print is about trying to grow collectively, as plants do, towards the sun, when we can be overwhelmed by sadness, mental anguish, helplessness or anger at systematic injustices. This is a 2023 screenprinted edition of 100, printed by Headlight. Unsigned, and unnumbered. It’s a dark blueish black ink on cream colored paper.”
