Welcome! 60 artists in solidarity have contributed over 75 pieces of art to the show! Each have their own page which you can access by clicking on the individual images below the slide show. Not all pieces are for sale.

  • A patchwork quilt made from cyanotype prints of hair. The cyanotype prints have a blue background and the hair is white. In this blue and white format, the hair looks like lightning, water, or plantlife.

  • A lone figure stands in front of a pile of bodies, each body having the imagery of gun shot holes in them. On top of the pile is a robotic figure, reminiscent of Boston Dynamic’s humanoid robot, who is holding a handgun with an extended bullet clip. Under the seen is a text box that reads: The ground is perfectly smooth, there is no wind. Everything smells of PFAS chemicals. Everything is covered in microplastics. You hear gun shots fire in Morse code: “I know your confused, but you’ll understand when you’re older”. Under the text there are “action options” that read, left to right, Attack and Next.   • A lone figure stands in front of a pile of large bird heads. Each bird head is made to look like they have been cut off from a body. On top of this pile is a figure, who is kneeling, holding a large hunting rifle, and then a wearing a head of a boar like beast as a mask. Under this seen is a text box that reads: While the pre-death meat smell hits you first, the silence of the forest lingers inside you. As you approach the pile, it squeals, “ I know you’re confused, but you’ll understand when you’re older”. Under that text there are “action options” that read, left to right, Talk, Item, Attack and Next. Next is selected.

  • This piece is assembled in an old wooden letter press drawer, a thin box with tiny square shelves at the top, each with a mirror inside. plastic flowers adorn the edges. A tiny giraffe, plastic chair and seeds fill some of the boxes at the top. The top center has a fabric pocket that says "We" in big letters and "free" in small letters under. there are sequins florouish that look like wings jutting out. black and white feathers poke out from the fabric pocket. Belwo this is rubberstamped "No one grows alone says the forest" with trees stamped all around it. Tiny pine cones adorn the corners.

    Frances and Ashley Peralta – Remember Back Then, When I Was Alive?
  • An abstract painting comprised of a grayish blue color that covers layers of splattered paint. The delicacy of the paint contrasts the speed and harsh splatters that create a three dimensional surface.   • Top and bottom are framed by the image of a Native American headband created by and gifted to me by Running River Banks. Sides are framed by multiple photocopies of a Let's Get Free T-shirt design created by Running River, LGF is the top of a key going into a keyhole, Let's Get Free is written on a green flag wrapping the shaft of the key. windows form one side of the key. on the other side a heart stands between 3 chain links and a rainbow peace sign. An AIM logo appears among these LGF designs. Body of the work has words stitched over an abstract background reading: Free To Believe Anything, Free To Think Any Thought, Free To Dismiss Imprisonment To Inertia, Free To Grow Beyond Yesterday's Understanding ((How) and (Are We) are crossed out on either side of the final Free). The box from a Remo drumhead peeks out below.

    Nora Smith – The Future Is Queer
  • A wooden sculpture featuring a light bulb hangs on the wall. The sculpture hangs from an oak piece screwed to the wall, and can be lifted off the wall by hand from it's perch. The light bulb sits at the top of the sculpture on a ceramic light bulb base, which sits on a circular piece of walnut, which sits atop an approximately 5" piece of pecan limb with the bark still on it. The lower end of the pecan piece is carved into a ball joint, which connects it to a cedar shere about 5" round that dangles and can rotate around the ball joint at the bottom of the sculpture. An electrical cord with an on/off switch comes out the bottom of the cedar sphere and plugs into the wall.

  • A sculpture of a reconstructed 1800’s ceramic bottle which remains broken in half with its two pieces set in vertical orientation without touching, standing at 12” tall and floating on a black oval wall mount. The bottle’s exterior surface is a high gloss glaze finish of variable earthen tones, the interior has is matte, shades of beige with signs of dirt still evident. The bottle’s broken edges are painted an ultramarine blue, separating the exterior and interior surfaces of the bottle.

  • This image is comprised of many lines and shows a scene in the ocean. There are many clouds and sunrise coming from behind the clouds and it looks like a nuclear bomb cloud or mushroom cloud is over the ocean. You can see deep below the ocean. Above and below the waterline is a mirror image. There is the cloud and birds on top and below is, the impact of the bomb below sharks swimming on the outer edges.

  • A painting of a desert rock rose is surrounded by geometric forms. The colors are florescent and the overall composure is both chaotic and has a sense of organization. The rock rose grows through the geometric forms and they seem connected. The rose stands in contrast to the shapes- and represents a struggle between findings structure and accepting the unknown natural world around us.

  • This painting is depicts my personal experience of a sort of inner heat and fire that is generated by conflict and uncertainty. My experience is that facing my fears and assumptions about the world is akin to an intense internal battle. My challenges in life at times lead to a sort of suffering that immensely unpleasant. To find peace with that and be able to face it is something that has been very important to me in life. I have come to appreciate my own intense struggles to find peace as a sort of beauty. The person in this image is not in pain, but at peace, even as they struggle

  • Printed with brown photo chemistry on red paper, a silhouette image of seaweed takes on a flame-like appearance in fiery red against a dark background. The overall effect is abstract and eerie, with a shape resembling tendrils of fire or smoke rising from an unseen source. In this cameraless photo process, the seaweed served as a mask that blocked light in certain areas and allowed it to pass through in others. The result is a contact print that directly represents the original seaweed.
