Artist Statement: Being incarcerated, I have learned so much about self and others. Most of us never value and appreciated what we have up until we no longer have it. This artwork represents wisdom, experience, and perseverance, which I have gained through time. The beauty of Free Mason has led me to a greater path, opened up my mind, and given me a new view of life. I always find art in life and from life I find art.
Life is an art and one who brings life is an artist sometimes, even though we end up in the most desperate situation of our life, but we still can make the best out of it. We have to because if we don’t, we will go nowhere. I am grateful and thank you for viewing my work.
