Artist statement: “This is an expression of “This Is Me”. I had a 2.5 years old son who I’ve never had the opportunity to see or hold or met due to my incarceration. He’s holding my tie as to say ‘don’t ever leave again’ and me trying to tell his mother, ‘I apologize for not being in his life’.”
